I am currently working on three research projects; the first is a collaboration with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to develop a phytoplankton water quality metric for nearshore Lake Erie, the second is a a statistical evaluation of the benthic diatom water quality metric described following the links on this website, and the third is a paleolimnology project in collaboration with the Natural Resources Research Institute exploring the past environmental conditions of the Great Lakes.
